Happy St Nicholas Day
December 6 is St Nicholas Day! So today St Nick left the boy a present in the fireplace. 
Rather than putting something in his shoes (as the tradition goes) he gave new shoes! The boy was THRILLED. And to match the new Ligtning McQueen cars shoes, the Cars dvd!

Too bad he doesn't like the present :) What a cutie. Don't you just love the excitement the little ones can exhibit?
That is SO funny! Just yesterday Ella was watching Cars again for about the millionth time since it came out, and she turned to me during the opening scene and said "Mommy, can I see Jake?" Awww, she misses her buddy!
Glad to see Jake so excited - he must be a total nut on Christmas!
