Yesterday's sky (I know, I'm late again) was taken in Jim Thorpe PA. Cloudy, chilly and a little rainy. Perfect weather for our Murder Mystery Weekend. Labels: Saturday Sky
Nice and Chilly! Fall is really here and I can wear my fingerless mitts and sweaters, hurray!Labels: Saturday Sky

It rained. Lots.
But all is cool and dry now! Yippie! And the baby sweater is finished! Plus a hat to go with! Yes we are very excited today!

Hayride tonight with a bonfire, hotdogs and smores! Perfect weather and lots of kids for the Mayor to run around. Fall has finally arrived, Thank God!Labels: Saturday Sky
The Mayor and I went to the Grist Mill today. We met Kim the Potter and her son, LT.
I'm shocked neither fell into the water. They were both running around and getting VERY close to the edge.

Beautiful day! Perfect sleeping weather at night. I'm so happy to have the windows open for a bit.
I did the first dishcloth dress, then had so much left over did another + a tribble! I used the Sugar & Cream Twists and really like how it knits up. It seems much softer than the regular cotton.Labels: Saturday Sky

The Jousting Field

Have a great Labor Day weekend!Labels: Saturday Sky
Lost in the corn maze (2hrs and we did not find all the clues for our map)
Trying to "rope cattle" (while still in the maze)
Riding the horses
Holding baby chicks (he wants to buy one now... we had to explain they are really not cuddly and grow into chickens quickly)
And more sky from the parking lot... yes, this is the neighboring farm! Lots of cows.
Wow what a day in eleventy billion degree heat but so worth it! I highly recommend the farm to everyone. Clean, fun, beautiful area, nice people and great fries!
ps bring quarters to 1. buy clues in the maze 2. get feed for the animals in the petting area

Beautiful weather today! Yippie!Labels: Saturday Sky
I finished one re-do of the toe up socks. (the one on the left is the re-do)
It fits much better and you can see by eliminating those 4 extra stitches every row, I got lots extra for the cuff.
BUT I'm still not thrilled with the heel. You can not even tell from these pics that there is a difference between the PGR heel on the left and the short row with wraps on the right. It does look a bit better in person, but I'm going to try the short rows another way for the next heel (no, that will not bother me)Labels: Saturday Sky, socks
BTW, if you are looking for me on Ravelry I am cbast25. I spent some time this week updating and getting pictures sorted. I even put up some pics of the yarn I spun!
I even had a chance to test a pattern for Vikki- crochet fishies! I found her via Noolie via Ravelry and commented how much I liked the fish. She emailed me back asking if I would like to test the pattern- Oh Boy!

Aren't they cute!? They are going to be fun in the tub for The Mayor and every kid in my family. Sugar & Cream cotton on an H hook.Labels: Saturday Sky
Yes, finally! and its really NICE! Huraay, Hurray! (plus it has a really nice stero, so I'm going to go out and knit in the car for a bit)Labels: Saturday Sky
