In the meantime... I'm knitting away on thingies and gifts. Here are 3 thingies all knit from ONE ball of Sugar & Cream. 2 Knit Dish Cloth Dresses and one Tribble. I can usually get one dishcloth and one Tribble from a ball of cotton. (good to know)

Check out this envelope she MADE....
and inside.... jewlery that she MADE. Herself. How cool is that?
I've been wearing them every day since I opened the envlope but do you think I'd ask someone to take my picture? duh.
And check this out... she knew Knit Boss needed a little pick-me-up with the store closing and all so she made this cool set, bracelet, earrings and necklace. (also in a way cool envleope that I failed to get a picture of). Labels: gifts

The pink/blue/white is 85 yards worsted thick'n' thin spun. This was roving that Amanda dyed for me in her dishwasher! (drop her a note and she might do some for you!) The maroon is 38 yards fingering/sport again from Amanda . She sells her stuff on Etsy ! Go look! Green & purple is about 16 yds worsted and 40 yds fingering from MDSW batt.
The *Party in a Bag* purple/blue/glitter from MDSW. Spun and gifted to Scooter. I never even made note of the yardage Bad Blogger.
And this is so cute the Mayor wants on for one of his toys.... a Beanie Baby sleeping bag! Its a free pattern. Super easy, super cute and a great way to try double knitting if you have not before.
Its late so I'll find the links and update later... (its later and I've updated.....)Trish tagged me!
Each person tagged gives 7 random facts about themselves. Those tagged need to write in their blogs the 7 facts, as well as the rules of the game. You need to tag seven others and list their names on your blog. You have to leave those you plan on tagging a note in their comments so they know that they have been tagged and to read your blog. Here are my facts:
1. 2 years ago I donated 11 inches of my hair to Locks of Love. I have not had a haricut since (DIY bangs do not count)Labels: tagged

Something called * Party in a Bag* from Pucker Brush Farm- they had baskets of this wonderful stuff that you stuffed into a bag for like $34 a pound. Amanda and I split a bag. I started spinning this on my Ashford spindle. Fun!
Um, it gets a little crazy here - the paper bag has a felting kit for shoe inserts (one of the few "what was I thinking" purchase) to the right of that is a face spritzer of lavender water. The 2 balls of fiber were another thing I split with Amanda. Merino from Brush Creek Farm - Rocky Coast colorway. She made me crazy with this- we passed it about 1/2 dozen times and she kept talking about it. Me- "Wanna go halvzies?" Her- "Noooo, its too much. You don't have to". Rinse & Repeat 5xs. She finally caved to my pressure, muh-haha!
And finally - yarn from Tess' ! SCORE! whoot! Even early in the day, this outside booth was crowded! 30 mins in line just to pay! (and shop more) I got 4 skeins of sock yarn and 2 lace. Really nice yarns in super colors. I'm not a pink person, but pink and gray??!! Can you say 80's? It about leapt into my arms!
What a really great day. I can't wait to go again next year and check out spinning wheels!
Oh and next year remind me to take better notes. I have receipts and scribbles all over and have no idea what most of it means.
I'd like to take a minute here and thank my Mom and The Mr who gave me cash (Mother's Day, birthday and Christmas 07 !!) so I could go and loose my mind to the wool. I'm a lucky girl to have family that supports (but not always understands) me. ThankYouMomandMr. !LoveYouSoMuch!

Knitting (Tulip skirt in Bernat Pink Camo for the Princess)
Spinning on my NEW GOLDING CELTIC SPINDLE! I lovelovelove this spindle. The wool is from Amanda and is spinning up sweet! I'm hoping to get a fingering weight for socks. My spinning is still pretty inconsistant, but between the new spindle and the excellent wool I may pull this off!
The best licence plate- we new we were on the right track
Baby goats !
Alpaca heiney!
People! (she will not get lost in the crowd)
The Main Barn- by 10:30 am it was pretty insane.

The line to get a t-shirt. Yes, the LINE to get a t-shirt! Crazy.
Spotted Goats
Spinning directly from the angora bunny. Just pluck and go. So. Cool.

And because it was a special event day, a 2nd Saturday sky shot.....
A cold front came in and brought lots of clouds and a chilly breeze. Obviously this did not stop our fun as exibited by Amanda in the lower left corner! We were heading to the car to drop off some purchases and the clouds, parking lot with MANYMANY cars and a woman intoxicated by wool fumes made an excellent pic.Labels: MD SheepandWool, Saturday Sky
